During my bachelor’s degree in Media & Interaction Design, I focused extensively on perception psychology and worked on innovative projects. To deepen my expertise, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Design at FH Münster. In parallel, I run my own design studio, where I bring creative projects to life, ranging from brand development to web design.
Conception and Design of a User Guidance System for an Automated Parking System
Media and Communication Strategy.
As part of my project "Conception and Design of a User Guidance System for an Automated Parking System," I developed a comprehensive concept that streamlines the entire parking process – from entry to vehicle retrieval – in a clear and intuitive way. The goal was to lower the barrier for first-time users and enhance the prototype with a seamless user guidance system.
The concept is based on clear signage, interactive monitors, and user-friendly instructions. Symbols, color coding, and floor markings ensure orientation, while monitors guide users step by step. Testing demonstrated the system's clarity and accessibility – even for individuals with no prior technical knowledge.
The result is a guidance system that builds trust and increases acceptance of the innovative parking system. It serves as a foundation for future applications where intuitive user guidance is essential and demonstrates how design can make technology user-friendly.
