As an illustrator, my passion lies in capturing emotions through images and creating atmospheres that bring stories to life. I find inspiration in free, experimental work, where I can craft new worlds and let my creativity flow.
Zwei Herzen für Rusty
llustrated children’s book.
For my bachelor’s thesis, I created an illustrated children’s book that explores the sensitive topic of divorce. The emotional and societal importance of this subject motivated me to craft a child-friendly narrative designed to provide support and encourage understanding.
The story follows a young fox named Rusty, who faces the seperation of his parents. During an emotional journey through the forest, Rusty meets various families, showing him—and the readers—that families, in all their diversity, remain unique and valuable, even as they change. It also emphasizes that love and a sense of security can endure, even in new family dynamics. The book aims to help children embrace their emotions while delivering a message of acceptance and resilience.
