Great visions deserve to be recognized as such. I see my mission as a designer in finding the best in those visions and communicate them in a way that helps them to not only be understood, but to charge them with emotion.
An Orientation System for the Botanical Garden Münster
Intuitive, inclusive, and identity-enhancing.
Our goal was to design a wayfinding system that makes the Botanical Garden Münster accessible in all its diversity, supporting visitors on their journey of discovery. The garden is a place of tranquility, inspiration, and knowledge—a living organism sustained equally by plants and people. We sought to reflect this dynamic in our concept.
We aim to make everyone feel welcome and to encourage playful and intuitive exploration of the garden's botanical and scientific dimensions. The unique qualities of the garden—its blend of science, relaxation, and biodiversity conservation—served as our inspiration.
As a team, we were united by the vision of creating wayfinding as more than just a functional tool. It’s about offering visitors the freedom to explore the Botanical Garden on their own terms, making orientation part of the experience itself.
