Spotlight
A game about emotions, resilience and self-reflection.
My masters project was developed in close collaboration with my co-designer Hannah. Together we developed her personal strategies for dealing with mental overload and burnout and translated them into a game that reflects her passion for theatre and board games. Our aim was to make Hannah's individual coping process tangible and at the same time encourage others to reflect on their own strategies for dealing with personal challenges. The co-design methods helped me to delve deeper into Hannah's circumstances and then, together with her, make the insights tangible for others. As a result, the game has the potential to be entertaining and at the same time invites people to reflect on themselves, their own emotions and how they deal with challenges in a humorous and creative way.
